JUNE 2007 NEWS

Greetings to all Flame fans and friends and welcome to
the June News page in which we are pleased to announce
positive stuff by the bucket full - potential trips
abroad being considered, some brand new album releases
as well as a number of exciting gigs for both the main
band and our acoustic splinter act.We have also
undergone an overhaul in band equipment - in other
words we've spent more money on new gear to give you
chaps out there an even better musical and visual
experience.Now all we need to do is overhaul the
website....

  NEW COLD FLAME ALBUM RELEASES FOR JUNE/JULY 2007
  ------------------------------------------------

COLD FLAME - LIVE UP THE POOL
At last after several months of mastering and artwork
activity we have a new album. A double album in fact
recorded live in Hartlepool in July 2003 when the
band,as a four piece sans keyboards, toured the north
of England performing their Jethro Tull tribute
show.This album features classic Tull material
alongside some rare Flame original tunes. Mixed and
mastered at Flame HQ earlier this year Live Up the
Pool is being officially released on FRIDAY JUNE
8th.Our regular artist Julian Homer has been on hand
to develop the cover artwork. We are really pleased
with how the album looks and sounds and hope you all
enjoy listening to the 25 live tracks on offer. An in
depth commentary on the album is being posted on the
ALBUMS section of our website.

PATRICK ROWBOTTOM - TINKER TAILOR WORKER WAILER
Patrick's first solo album - a collection of 15 rock,
blues, new age and acoustic tracks originally recorded
and released in 1991 now remastered using the Cold
Flame mobile studio with bonus tracks featuring some
ex members of Cold Flame. New details to be found on
the ALBUMS page.Release date is FRIDAY JULY 6TH.As
with all Flame albums this album will be available
direct from the band.

PATRICK ROWBOTTOM - THE SANDS OF TIME
Patrick's second solo album from 1995 - a collection
of acoustic and folk rock tunes loosely themed around
the English Civil War 1661 - 1665...again remastered
with bonus studio tracks as well as previously
unreleased  'live bootleg' material again featuring
contributions from ex Flame members. The album is now
released as a double with one cd being studio and the
other live.New details to be found on the ALBUMS page
very soon. Release date is FRIDAY JULY 6TH. As with
all Flame albums this album will be available direct
from the band.


GIG GUIDE
---------
March was not a good month with several big dates
being postponed and ex Tull bassist Glenn Cornick's
Wild Turkey UK tour with Cold Flame in support being
cancelled due to difficulties with the main tour
promoter. Fortunately things have improved and our
recent sellout shows have perked the chaps up no
end.The band has recently received enquiries from both
the USA and Poland and we will let you know as soon as
there is further concrete news of tour dates abroad.
Meanwhile there are some great gigs already booked
over the summer with June highlights including
supporting Hawkwind at Donnington Park near Derby as
part of a 3day weekend festival, Cold Flame's first
rock performance in the Glossop area for approx 3
years at Hadfield Carnival[outdoor gig] and some CFA
outdoor shows in summer village bbqs. July sees band
headlining Derby's Assembley Rooms with two seperate
performances as well as the Acoustic band's debut at
Glossop Festival on Sunday July 1st and further summer
bbqs.Check out the gig guide which is updated
regularly for more details on all Tull tribute, rock
and acoustic shows and in the absense of direct links

SOUTH AMERICA

Hats off to Roy Evans our good friend who managesGlenn
Cornick's  Wild Turkey.In January 2007, Roy undertook
a 3 week tour of South America promoting both The
Turks and Cold Flame.You can check out what Argentina
thought about Cold Flame from recent radio broadcasts
featuring the chaps.See links below....Fluent Spanish
might prove handy!!!

MERCHANDISE

For the last few years, Cold Flame merchandise has
been available from the band at gigs and from the
official website Shop. We are now in discussion with
renowned Lincolnshire music and record company -
RECORD VILLAGE - to promote albums through Ebay and
other internet outlets. We will keep you up to speed
with these developments.Meantime all Cold Flame
merchanise is readily available through both our main
and Myspace websites.If you want to purchase using
cash or cheques just message the band direct and
orders will be dealt by return of post.

BOTH AT GIGS AND DIRECTLY FROM THE BAND.

The website has had some teething problems over the
last few months admittedly and time is now being taken
