To celebrate Cold Flame's 40th anniversary in 2024, the band released a brand new Cold Flame single entitled 'Return of the Sand Man' on Thursday February 1st. The song was written by Cold Flame band leader and main songwriter, Pat Rowbottom, and is performed by Pat together with members of the French line up of the band with percussive support from studio engineer Neil Scales. Lasting just over four and a half minutes , the theme of the song reflects change, movement and departure from an individual perspective whilst also remembering with fondness, times past. The song is a follow up to a track entitled 'Sand Man' which was included on the extended version of 'A Circus in Paradise' the studio album released by Cold Flame last year. The single is initially available as a download only release. 'Return of the Sand Man' by Cold Flame is officially released via Ditto Music and is available to download on all the usual platforms including Apple, Amazon, Deezer and Spotify.
